Primary Objective

Our client is a leader in their field, offering opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects including large scale high rise buildings, iconic sporting facilities, shopping centers and commercial tenancies.  this opportunity will see you join a team industry professionals, offering design and construct solutions to a portfolio of high profile clients with across the Commercial and Construction Sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and experience in managing multi million dollar commercial construction projects and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of design, planning and managing.  This is a critical role in the organisation that will see you responsible for diverse range of projects including large scale high rise buildings, iconic sporting facilities, shopping centers and commercial projects.

Strong technical aptitude, excellent time management, strong computer and an exceptional standard of customer service and communication skills are a necessity. You will be responsible for ensuring all assigned tasks are executed in accordance with the company’s implementation project methodology.

You will take pride in the successful delivery of multi million dollar projects across SE QLD.  Reporting to the Construction Manager, day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Project management from concept to completion of projects
  • Maintain a clear and precise project plan showing key deliverables and milestones
  • Ensure that projects are proactively managed, executed according to the project plan, schedule and budget resolving any issues promptly
  • Bring your strong business acumen, confidence in managing project financials, ability to read/interpret contracts and manage project variations
  • Effective management of resources including close monitoring of material and labour allowances
  • Accurate preparation of monthly progress claims

  • Experience as a Electrical Project Manager, responsible for for multimillion dollar commercial/construction projects
  • High energy and results driven
  • Team player, with good coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to handle volatile and high pressure situations
  • Solid negotiating skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Track records for delivering results within a limited timeframe and budget
  • Strict adherence and enforcement of relevant project, safety and company standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi task to meet rapidly changing requirements and deadlines
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to share knowledge in a clear and concise manner
