Our client is a well-established electrical contracting company in the industrial sector, specialising in Machine Automation. This position will see you join a team of experts in their field, based from Murrarie.

This is a permanent opportunity for trade qualified Electricians experienced in industrial installations and machine automation.  This position will see you working a minimum 38 hour week plus overtime.  The company is offering a competitive hourly rate, a company vehicle, company phone, uniforms plus benefits.

The types of projects that you will be working on will be varied; keeping you mentally challenged and allowing you to implement your industry knowledge to successfully contribute to the business.

The Candidate

In this role you will be representing the company onsite, working with clients such as large food processing and manufacturing plants.

This role requires a candidate with strong technical knowledge and electrical industry experience including automation control wiring.

To be successful in  this role you will be driven to succeed and will hold the following skills and experience:

  • Qld Electrical Licence
  • Current CPR/LVR Certification
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation of customized switchboards
  • Experience in wiring power control equipment
  • Previously applied knowledge and expertise working with PLC’s and VSD’s
  • Demonstrated experience with Allen Bradley, Micro Logix, Compact Logix and Control Logix control systems
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and compliance regulations
  • Strong testing, fault finding and diagnoses skills;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
