Administration Assistant

Our client is a well-regarded not-for-profit organisation providing apprentice and trainee services to the Electrotechnology and Renewable energy sectors. Due to a change in training packages, the team at their Pinkenba offices need some additional administration support for a 6 month temporary position.

 

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Working as a part of the administration and finance team, your key duties will include:

  • •    Providing Administrative support for quality and compliance reporting
    •    Records management data entry
    •    Enter administration and reporting of student satisfaction surveys and course evaluations/feedback forms
    •    Process requests for enrolments
    •    Maintain accuracy of student records 
    •    Data input and systems support across all programs and business area

This role will see you working Monday to Friday 0800 to 4.30pm with a casual hourly rate of $35-37 per hour depending on your experience.

  • Previous administration experience
  • Own transport

Switchboard Design Engineer

Our client is a successful Electrical Contracting company specialising in construction, service and maintenance solutions for Industrial and Commercial customers.

Based from their professional premises in Brisbane’s Southern Suburbs, this privately-owned business has been servicing the industry for over 15 years. This highly skilled team are passionate about building trusting relationships with customers and delivering customised technical solutions to the highest quality.

The business has built a strong customer base across public and private sectors, including resources, utilities, manufacturing and associated industries.

 

Industrial Project Manager
The ideal candidate will bring an Industrial Electrical Project Management background with experience in delivering projects from commencement to completion.   You will be responsible for building relationships with an existing client base, providing project estimates, driving project safety culture, procurement, coordinating trades and subcontractors.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering multimillion dollar electrical lighting and power installations for new industrial facilities
  • Project management from concept to completion including project setup, program schedules, budget and procurement  
  • Ensure projects are proactively managed, providing a high level of communication with clients
  • Maintain a clear and precise project plan showing key deliverables and milestones
  • Coordinate trades in line with site accessibility and project schedules
  • Forecast labour requirements, negotiate with suppliers, procure plant and equipment
  • Effective management of resources including close monitoring of material, labour allowances and subcontractors
  • Effectively manage client relationships and delivery expectations
  • Monitor and ensure the compliance of project HSEQ and QA

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position will be a passionate and results focused Project Manager, who has experience in effectively delivering new construction projects. 

Key skills and attributes required for the role:

  • Experience in delivering multimillion dollar electrical projects
  • The ability to coordinate multiple project teams simultaneously, prioritise and delegate tasks
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with people at all levels including internal and external customers, industry suppliers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative with the ability to operate in a fast paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi task to meet rapidly changing requirements and deadlines
