Electrical Trainers

Our client is a well-regarded not-for-profit organisation providing apprentice and trainee services to the Electrotechnology and Renewable energy sectors. As the demand for industry apprentices grows, we have an opportunity for an an Electrical Trainer to join their positive and supportive office team based in Pinkenba.

This opportunity will see you join the newly opened Queensland Renewable Energy Training Facility, which is a world class facility, and leading training hub. This not-for-profit organisation are passionate about industry, delivering qualifications in renewable energy, training electrical apprentices and assist licensed electricians to upgrade their skills in the industry.

ELECTRICAL TRAINERS

 

Available roles: 

Electrotechnology Trainer – 

  • Deliver and assess Certificate II, Certificate III, Post Trade and Short Courses.
  • Build strong & effective working relationships with the Electrotechnology community including apprentices, employers and external stakeholders

Solar Energy Trainer – 

  • Deliver and assess Solar Energy Training
  • Build strong & effective working relationships with the Electrotechnology community including apprentices, employers and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver and assess training for students undertaking national grid connect and or battery storage and may be called upon to deliver electrical apprenticeship units and other post trade and short courses
  • Occasionally travel to run courses at our Rockhampton campus.

Electrical Contractor Licence Trainer – 

  • Deliver and assess Electrical Contractors Licence Queensland Course for QBP & QTP
  • Build strong & effective working relationships with the Electrotechnology community including apprentices, employers and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs including assisting with the development of training material and resources

THE CANDIDATE

To succeed in these roles, you will need:

  • A trade qualification and industry currency in the relevant Electrotechnology sector 
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
  • A good understanding of statutory regulations related to training in the electrotechnology industry.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A genuine passion for the future of the Electrotechnology industry and a desire to enhance student knowledge
