Our client is an award winning multidisciplined building service company which specialises in the design, installation, servicing and maintenance of building services. The Group have been operating for over 35 years, initially based in NSW then expanding with multiple offices across QLD, delivering Electrical, HVAC and Fire Services on both major and minor projects.  

Due to consistent company growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Client Account Manager to join their passionate team based on Brisbane’s Northside.  This position will see you working closely with the SEQ Head of Sales, the Service Manager and Service Technicians.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Client Account Manager, Service Supervisor or ambitious tradesperson, who enjoy enjoys developing and growing customer relationships.  

Primary Objective:
As the Client Account Manager – Fire Services, your primary objective within the business is to manage existing fire maintenance customers, identify growth opportunities and obtaining new fire maintenance business sales opportunities.

In this unique position you will be responsible for the following:

  • Client Account Management: Build strong relationships with existing customers, act as the key liaison and point of contact for clients seamlessly address all queries. Identify and understand customer needs to provide customised solutions and negotiate successful outcomes.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and develop potential opportunities for business growth by creating and following up on new client opportunities, quoting work for service and minor projects, obtaining client feedback and maintaining relationships
  • Client Delivery and Support: Collaborate internally to create customised client solutions, handover client contracts to the Service Delivery Team and provide effective communication to service technicians responsible for managing client service requirements
  • Compliance and Standards: Enforce and maintain industry and company standards, ensure all relevant safety processes, compliance documentation and data integrity in maintained consistently to a high standard

You will also possess following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to identify sales opportunities with new customers and grow existing client accounts
  • Previous experience in successfully managing client relationships and creating a solutions focused sales environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with people at all levels including internal and external customers, industry suppliers and stakeholders
  • Confidence in your technical knowledge and ability in the Fire Services industry
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions
